Stay Together : Flourish Together

The world mocks when women come together because women engage in trivialities and end up breaking their ties with their women friends due to ego clashes / rivalry / envy / insecurity. Many ventures have been dropped off by women because they could not adjust with the other women in those business ventures. A poem written by me to make the women realize that we need to be united in order to fight and survive the battles of life. We need to be together and spread sisterhood instead of engaging in politics with one another and harassing one another.

 You are unique and beautiful

Yet why are you doubtful?

A fantastic piece of artistic beauty

You complete every duty

Compassionate, caring and daring

Your  duties are never ending

You are the driver of your life

Whether a sister, daughter, mother or wife

You can take up every role

And achieve your goals

But why are you not able to accommodate

With your own conglomerate?

The world would be a beautiful place 

When all women together run a single race.

Stop crying and squabbling

Get into the mode of trouble shooting.

Know what they say behind your back

Its time to give them a tight smack

Stop the negativity and mockery around

Its time to hold your ground

Prove them wrong and set things right

Shun the heart that holds a fright.

Capture the heart of your sisters 

Which beat for you through the years

You are born to build a clan

That's wonderful, successful and glam.

A woman can never be a friend to another woman

This is the age old notion proclaimed by society and man.

Let there be love and sisterhood in our heart

Let us together rock and spread our art

The art of selfless love, care and service

Which will help us empower one another and flourish.


Hope that women empathize and spread this message of sisterhood all over wherever they are. Let us use our strength to remain united and support one another through thick and thin. 


Note: In most of the cases, be it in the family / at work / in business women are insecure of other women around and try to over power / show off / engage in games to put the other woman down. A woman becomes the enemy of another woman at the domestic front. There are exceptions to this too. No one must take this personally.

My Perception of a Teacher.

Teaching is a noble profession because it shapes the character, caliber and future of an individual. But today when I look around I find students who are afraid of their teachers. Afraid to raise questions, afraid to put forward their doubts & dilemmas, afraid to be in the class. The youth today is that breed of intelligence who is tech savvy, is updated about the latest changes on a daily basis but among these you will find students/children who are highly demotivated, depressed, lacking in confidence, anxious and are in a state of trauma. The youth today faces lot of competition and is always bogged down with the pressure from their families, their own expectations and immense peer pressure. The Parable of the Pencil

As children we used a pencil for writing and drawing, but today with reference to the  story of the pencil maker, here I am sharing my views with you all about a pencil. The pencil maker advised the pencil 1. You will be able to do great things BUT only if you allow yourself to be held in someone's hand. Similarly we as humans can do great things if we abide to the laws of God. Trust in God despite of whatsoever is going on in your life. Have faith in God because he will never let you down. Sooner or later he will lead you to your dreams and help you achieve them. Never lose faith in God, the Almighty. Be accessible to all around you and let others have a share to use the gifts that you possess. If you possess knowledge related to your forte share it and it multiplies abundantly passing from person to person. This way you too will be able to enhance your knowledge and sharpen your skills.
